“ There's a reason Barcades have popped up in cities across the us. Great games, good fun, and it doesn't have to break the bank. We went on a Sunday evening after dinner and the mood was lively and vibrant. We didn't eat or drink - $10 bought us tokens for two of us to play pinball for over an hour. They have all our favorite machines - Adam's Family and Medieval Madness were our top plays. They have all the general favorite upright video games as well as some shooters and driving games with some fun and unusual specials from around the world. There's limited free parking in the lot at the side of the building. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere with nothing else around so it's a good destination for an evening. The food smelled and looked great and we saw some nice looking cocktails, too, but it was a bit of a trek home for us so we didn't drink. The machines are well maintained. Worth a go if you like video games and have an evening to spend. ”
“ All gamers welcome! Love love the old school games. Drinks was good. But parking was no bueno. ”
“ I've had some great times at this arcade bar! The variety of games is impressive (Shout out for Burger Time and Tapper), and they are all in excellent condition. The atmosphere is lively and fun, making it a perfect spot to hang out. However, I have to mark down one star because they don't update their Google business hours when closed for private parties. It's a quick and easy update, but they just say it's on their website--in small red text, at the very bottom. People usually check Google for business hours, not the website. I only mention this because it happened to me twice last year. We show up to be told they open back up to the public at midnight. A little tip: keeping Google business hours updated could make a big difference. It quick and easy to do too. We love coming here and want to know when it's open to the public, even if it's at midnight! ”
“ I'll just start by saying this is hands down the best arcade bar in Los Angeles. I used to love Button Mash (RIP) but it was such a royal pain to find parking, especially during Dodgers games. And it would get ridiculously crowded. So far, in my experience with Barcade, I've never had either of those problems. There's always plenty of neighborhood parking, it's never too packed with people, and there's actually space to move around freely and explore the game selection. And let me tell you, that game selection is fantastic; I couldn't believe they had Lucky & Wild, a driving shooter game I hadn't played since the early-'90s. What a trip. They also have some rare games you're not likely to find anywhere else, like Chiller (from 1986). And best of all, they're all in working order (which is less common than you'd think with arcade bars). The game selection alone is enough to sing the praises of this place, but the food is also quite good. It's a good choice for a Saturday night, especially if your friends want to drink and you don't. Plenty of options for everyone to have a good time. Best of all, it's a ten minute drive away from my apartment. Long live Barcade! ”
“ Always some awesome service! Awesome bartenders! Try the KABURGER under fatsandwich section. A Flavorful and savory sandwich accompanied with the Victory Golden Monkey was just delicious. Chill vibes, awesome retro cabinet games and pinball games. Restrooms located in the middle when heading towards the back of the establishment ”
“ Awesome spot with retro games and pinball serving up killer food. Came in for a company party and got to sample a bunch of the food, everything was delicious. Shoutout to the bouncer, he was incredibly cool. ”
“ Bar + Arcade! Really great retro arcade spot that caters to adults. The games are 1 or 2 tokens (1 token = .25) Food was standard bar food! I enjoyed the tater tots I wanted to host a birthday party here and save tables. One of the staff members recommended I make reservations. In order to do that I had to get a catering package. I worked with Mars on that. She was great to work with! They were flexible in terms of how I could customize the catering package with food or drink. Overall great place, great night! ”
“ Love coming here on dates w my fiancé and also with family & friends. Every first Sunday of the month kids can come and play from 12-5 & it's pretty fun doing this with your kids! Favorite games are the racing one & the marvel one because you can play with 4 people so it's super fun playing with the kiddos. Drinks are decently priced, not too expensive but not cheap either. Haven't tried their food but their stout nitro beer was delicious & tasted like a cup of black coffee ”
“ This place is a bit more busy if you're visiting during a weekend. It also does tend to get extremely loud during the weekend as they have been hosting more larger parties. I did get a table in the back section of the barcade. I have visited here frequently and have noticed the back bar closed on all my visits. The bar is pretty busy most evenings and you have to flag a bartender down to put in your drink order and food order. They do have a wide variety of games for you to enjoy an overall very fun place to visit. My food did come out in a timely manner. I ordered the fat chopper and wings which I highly recommend both. Fat Chopper 10/10- This is very filling but tastes great. The tots definitely complement the sandwich. Side of ranch is an extra cost. Buffalo Wings 10/10- These were very tasty and a bit more vinegar forward. I do wish there was an easier way to order. I find it a bit difficult to order at the bar since there are many patrons that like to sit and eat at the bar top. Maybe moving some barstool from one of the ends of the bar so other guests don't have to reach over those guests who are seated at the bar. There were many occupied seats at the bar that even politely excusing yourself to grab a menu was a bit impossible. ”
“ As the name suggests, this is a pretty sizable bar arcade located in the Highland Park area. Lots of awesome classic games as well as newer ones. There's pretty much something for everyone that loves arcade games. Lots of cool modern pinball machines as well. The full bar has a surprisingly great selection of whiskeys. If I were to oversimplify this place, I would say it's like an artisanal Dave & Buster's, and I mean that in the best possible way. I can't say too much about the service because I was distracted by all the great video games. My buddy went to the bar and got me a pour of whiskey. A group of us went on a weekday night to check it out. We all started playing that classic side scrolling X-Men game. One of my favorites growing up! I also played a few awesome pinball games like the Godzilla game. This was probably really specific to the night we were there, but I think there was some weird thing happening in the bathrooms where they had to close early and kick everybody out. Honestly, I wasn't sure what was happening, but it was kind of a bummer because my buddy just bought me a pour Bookers bourbon. The folks there told us that we had to finish right away and leave. Now, if you know about Bookers, it's about usually around 130 proof. Not the type of bourbon that you just wanna drink really fast and get on the road lol. But like I said, things happen and it was probably just specific to this particular night. Really cool spot and I definitely want to come back and play some more pinball games. ”
